India expressed dismay over new incidents of attacks against Indians in Australia on Thursday with External Affairs Minister S M Krishna once again expected to raise the issue with his Australian counterpart Stephen Smith on the margins of a conference in London. Minister of State for External Affairs Preneet Kaur said in a statement in New Delhi that government is dismayed over the fresh incidents of violence.

Australia has set up a high-level working group to study the spate of attacks on Indians in that country. The working group set up by the federal government and the government of Victoria state would comprehensively study the reported incidents and their implications, External Affairs Minister S M Krishna said this to the reporters after meeting his Australian counterpart Stephen Smith in London.
