Special CBI adjourns hearing on bail application of Amit Shah
In Gujarat, Special CBI Court in Ahmedabad today adjourned the hearing on the bail application of the former Minister of State for Home Amit Shah till 30th of this month.
The bail application was scheduled for hearing today. Shah is in Sabarmati Jail under judicial custody in connection with Sohrabuddin Sheikh fake encounter case.

Amit Shah’s bail plea hearing on August 17
In Gujarat, the hearing on the bail application of Amit Shah- former Minister of State for Home will now be held on the 17th of this month.

The CBI today took custody of former minister Amit Shah after the Gujarat High Court accepted the agency’s plea for his two-day remand in the Sohrabuddin Sheikh fake encounter case.
The central investigating agency team accompanied by doctors reached the Sabarmati jail in Ahmedabad, early this morning and took Shah into custody after a routine medical check up. Read more…
Spl Court rejects CBI’s plea for five-day custody of Amit Shah
In Gujarat, a special court has rejected the CBI’s plea for five-day custody of Amit Shah. The court had reserved its order on Monday on the plea as the CBI had sought Shah’s remand after it failed to extract information in its three-day questioning in judicial custody.

Former Gujarat Minister Amit Shah to be questioned by CBI today
In Gujarat, the Central Bureau of Investigation, CBI, will start interrogation of former Minister of State for Home Amit Shah in Sabarmati Jail today.
The interrogation would be conducted under tight security and entire proceedings will be recorded on audio and video tape. Special CBI court has granted permission to the investigating agency for interrogation from 28th to 30th July.

Gujarat MoS for Home Amit Shah to appear before CBI today
Gujarat Minister of State for Home Amit Shah will appear before the CBI today afternoon. He was summoned by the investigating agency in connection with the Sohrabuddin Shaikh fake encounter and murder of Sohrabuddin’s wife.
In a statement issued to media last evening, Amit Shah confirmed that he had received the summons and appears for questioning on Friday at CBI office in Gandhinagar.
