DMK, Congress to continue alliance for Tamil Nadu Elections: Karunanidhi
DMK and Congress will continue their alliance for the assembly elections in Tamil Nadu.

Speaking to reporters after his meeting with the Congress President Sonia Gandhi in New Delhi, DMK Chief M Karunanidhi said a committee will be set up to discuss modalities of seat-sharing.

In his 30-minute meeting, Karunanidhi was accompanied by his daughter and party MP Kanimozhi, Union Minister Dayanidhi Maran and senior DMK leader T R Baalu. Earlier in the day, Karunanidhi had a meeting with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and discussed the seat sharing issue.

The meeting comes a day after Karunanidhi announced that Paatali Makkal Katchi (PMK) will be part of DMK-led alliance for the elections in Tamil Nadu.
