Centre launching pilot project “Solekshaw” to make postal services faster and easy
Centre is soon launching a pilot project to make the postal services faster and easy for the Post man. In the normal circumstances the post man has to traverse long distances on foot. With the launch of the project the post men will be provided “Solekshaw’ operating on a solar power.
The rickshaw was launched in New Delhi today by minister of state for communication and Information Technology Sachin Pilot.
The project will be carried out in 1000 post offices in Rajasthan initially. It will be implemented in rest of the country within next three months.
Talking to reporters the minister said that the environmental friendly rickshaw can be charged with solar wind and bio-mass generated energy.
