New Delhi: Delhi Metro’s Central Secretariat-Qutub Minar link, which connects the Jahangirpuri in the north of Gurgaon in Haryana, distance of 45 KM.  

About 32,000 people used the metro services till 8 pm said Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) spokesperson.

Union Urban Development Minister S Jaipal Reddy opened the 12.53 km-long stretch for public in the presence of Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit at Udyog Bhawan metro station.

The entire stretch will have 25 km of underground and 20 km of elevated sections.

The entire corridor has 34 stations – 20 of them underground and 14 elevated.
