Bharti Airtel to acquire Telecom Seychelles
Bharati Airtel is going to buy hundred percent stake in Telecom Seychelles for about Rs 288 crore on Wednesday.
Already Bharati Airtel acquired Zain Telecom’s Africa assets for USD 10.7 billion that deal completed in June.
Airtel CEO (International) and Joint MD Manoj Kohli said ” the board of directors has signed the acquisition deal on Wednesday”.
By the acquisition of Telecom Seychelles, Bharti Airtel will expand their footprint sevices to 16 countries and overall presence to 19 nations.
Telecom Seychelles make world class operations that include 3G services in Africa.
Now Bharti Airtel will acquire all stake from its promoters to make it part of African operations.
