Bengali movie “Moner Manush” wins Golden Peacock award for best film in International film festival
The Bengali movie “Moner Manush” directed by Gautam Ghose has won the prestigious Golden Peacock award for the best film in the 41st International film festival in Goa.
Goutam Ghose received the Golden Peacock award trophy, Rs. 20 lakhs in presence of the Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Shri Choudhury Mohan Jatua, the Chief Minister of Goa, Shri Digambar Kamat and the famous actor & National Award Winner Saif Ali Khan who was invited as the Chief Guest of the closing function of IFFI 2010.
Another Indian film in the competition section “Just Another Love Story” directed by Kaushik Ganguly also brought proud moment to Indian film world by sharing the special Jury award with the film “Boy” from New Zedaland.
