The iPad runs iPad-specific applications as well as those written for the iPhone and iPod Touch, including e-book readers. The iPad comes with a storage capacity of 16GB, 32GB and 64GB in three different models. There is hardly anything that the iPad can’t do.

In Australia it is being used a menu card in a restaurant where people can use it to choose and order their meals. Order a steak and the application asks whether the meat is to be cooked or not, and placing the order can be done with the press of a button.

An application called Speak Dolphin is now being used by Dolphin Discovery’s swim team. The application uses symbol recognition techniques in order to teach the dolphin how to express itself. All in all the iPad is creating waves like never before.
