Anand Sharma to hold meetings with Putin in St. Petersburg
The Commerce Minister Anand Sharma is visiting Russia to participate in the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum meeting. During his stay in Moscow he is scheduled to meet Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin and hold meetings with Russian Deputy Prime Minister Sergey Sobyanin, Minister of Economic Development Elvira Nabiullina and Minister of Industry and Trade Viktor Khristenko.
Mr Anand Sharma will be accompanied by a high level business delegation in the, SPIEF, meeting being held on Friday and Saturday. The objective is to further push the economic partnership to achieve 20 billion dollar bilateral trade by 2015.
AIR correspondent reports that the forum gathers the world’s leading decision makers from government, business and civil society every year to identify and deliberate on key challenges facing emerging markets and find common purpose and frameworks to forge solutions.
