Air services Agreement between India and Nepal

today approved signing up of an Air services Agreement between India and Nepal. A decision to this effect was taken in the Cabinet today. The signing of the Agreement will widen the coperation between the two countries in the aviation sector and boost bilateral trade. According to an official release it will also facilitate strengthening of Cultural exchanges between the two countries besides tourism and help in bringing Air Services to the International civil aviation scenario.

The Cabinet also approved signing of a MOU between the Ministry of New and renewable energy and the Ministry of culture with the Government of scotland to promote cooperation in the new and renewable energy area. It also considered the recommendations of the 13th financial commission .The report will be placed in Parliament in the forthcoming budget session.
